SigmaTEK Systems announces three automation solutions webinars

The three seminars are aimed at shop owners, fabricators, programmers, machine operators, production managers and others in charge of improving shop floor efficiency.

Microvellum to host webcast on July 10

CMA ‘Working with Designers and Architects’ webinar to be held Wednesday, Aug. 14

On Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. EDT, the Cabinet Makers Association will present its next webinar, featuring Joe Knobbe of Exclusive Woodworking. The live “Working with Designers and Architects” webinar is part of a series planned for more Wednesdays through early November.

The 60- to 70-minute webinar, sponsored by CabinetMaker+FDM, will cover: • Finding your market • Staying in front of your target • Understanding your role • Building STRONG relationships • Working together profitably The webinar will also have a live Q-and-A session, allowing participants the chance to ask questions to the expert. The session is accredited for CMA CEUs and is an elective session for those seeking CMA certifications, but attendees do not have to be a CMA member or enrolled in the certification program.

CMA, Cabinetmaker+FDM to host first webinar in Pro/Ed series on July 17

The Cabinet Makers Association and Cabinetmaker+FDM will launch the first of more than a dozen live periodic webinars starting Wednesday, July 17. The first Pro/Ed webinar features Gene Wengert of Wood Doctors RX and will be moderated by Will Sampson, editor, CabinetMaker+FDM magazine.

This series of live webinars, which will be held on most Wednesdays into early November, will contain a variety of business management and technical topics. About half of the webinars are classes that are part of CMA certification training, while the rest are accredited CEU sessions. You are not required to enroll in CMA certification or be a CMA member to attend the webinars, however, CMA members receive a discount on registration.

Other webinars in this series will include: “From concept to drawing to sold!” on July 31, “The art of pricing profitability” on Aug. 7, and “Working with architects and designers” on Aug. 14. Learn more about this first webinar and others in the series and register at
